UCI Continues Growing Despite Nevada’s High Unemployment Rates
As Nevada’s unemployment rate hits the lowest point in 20 years, Unforgettable Coatings is looking for new workers to join our growing commercial painting company. Right now, the construction industry is one of the few still growing.
8 New Now spoke with Unforgettable Coatings learning more about the trend. Reporters talked to Corey Summerhays, CEO at UCI. He explained, “We are chasing people. We are looking for people that fit. We are trying to find them. We started 13 years ago at that time in the middle of the recession, a lot of opportunity right now.”
While our commercial painting contractors in Nevada are currently seeing an increase in the workload, it is actually changing the type of services commercial businesses are now needing. Much of the work our Nevada branch is performing is on multi-family developments.
Corey also told reporters, “We are scrambling to solve what we would call a Cadillac problem, lot of work, simply trying to find people to fill those spots.”
